Dating
back to 1853 Oxford University Parks consist of
about 70 acres of parkland on the west bank of
the River Cherwell just 10 minutes from Oxford
city centre. The Parks include sports areas (University
cricket is played here) and a large collection
of plants and trees. There are landscaped walks
along the Cherwell (Riverside Walk or through Mesopotamia);
to Marston; or simply around the perimeter which
is the route that Oxford Run Run follows.
